Our Design Team with their 2' cardboard concept maquette. This model merges the welder and the artist into one cohesive sculpture. As the viewer moves around the piece each figure presents themselves. Now the Manufacturing Team will disassemble our model to scan and fabricate each component from steel.

Sculpture & Manufacturing Collide
Master Artist Don Rambadt in Residence at Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum
Don Rambadt earned his BFA (Bachelor's of Fine Arts) at UW-Milwaukee and currently resides and works in Milwaukee, WI. He pairs elegant forms and graceful lines with the bold, rugged properties of metal to create striking sculpture. This fall, Rambadt works with Wausau East High School art and technical education students to develop original sculpture designs for fabrication in the school’s metal workshop.

"I sculpt because I enjoy the challenge of manipulating space. I've chosen birds as my subject matter because they fascinate me to no end" -Don Rambadt
